We believe the Father through the Holy Spirit draws men and women to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church’s role is to glorify God and serve those in need. Everything we do at Cypress is centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a diverse and multigenerational family that lovingly worships together. We offer various ministries and groups for all ages. As well as opportunities to serve our community through special events and activities. Whether you're new to the Christian faith or you've been a Christian for a long time, you will find at Cypress a loving community that will help you grow in your spiritual journey.
ABOUT US
We believe the Father through the Holy Spirit draws men and women to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church’s role is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God. We believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sins by dying on the cross as our substitute.
1868
Cypress Baptist Church began from a group of believers meeting on Cypress Creek.
1873
The church moved to its present day location. The original building on this site was a one room split-log building.
1943
Dr. Autry preached a revival under a brush arbor. twenty-nine people were saved.
1974
The present-day sanctuary was built replacing the one built in 1953. Since then, new aditions and renovations have been made to the Children's Church, choir loft, front entry, youth room, and a new fellowship hall was added.

OUR STAFF
JEFF MAY / SENIOR PASTOR
Jeff is our senior pastor. He enjoys spending time with his family and helping others. Occasionally, you might even find him on the golf course.
DAVID WALLACE / MUSIC DIRECTOR
David has been with the church for 20 years and enjoys bowling, playing cards, and watching the Arkansas Razorbacks. He also loves to eat breakfast food.
MYLA OWENS / OFFICE MANAGER
Myla has been with the church for 20+ years using her talents in administration. Myla loves camping, traveling, and cooking. She is such a blessing.
YOUTH DIRECTOR
We are currently praying for the person God is preparing to be our next Youth Director. Please join us in prayer as we seek God's will for this position.
PAT MAGEE / CUSTODIAN
Pat has been with Cypress for 50+ years. She loves the church and is full of humor. She enjoys crafting and spending time outdoors with her family. Her favorite food is just good ol' home cooking.
